Sam Gooris
Sam Gooris (10 April 1973) is a Belgian singer. He is married to Kelly Pfaff, daughter of former Belgian goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff. They have 2 children, Kenji & Shania.
In 1989, Sam found Jack Rivers, a producer, through VTM (a Belgian TV-station). Jack Rivers produced songs such as "Gloria", "Marijke" and "Kom m'n liefste meisje" for him. Sam's biggest hit in Belgium was "Marijke", released in 1992. In the same year Coca-Cola Footwear asked Sam to promote their products. He made two albums that year, the first titled "Marijke", the other "Kom terug", made especially for children. Afterwards Sam was responsible for singles such as "Laat het gras maar groeien" and "Verlaat me nooit". On November 24th of 1995 Sam released some other album.
After taking some time off, Sam started making songs again. He searched for new producers, and found them. Mon Segers & Berre Bergen (famous from Belgian boysband Get Ready) produced more big hits such as "Basket sloefkes", "Oehlala-he Manuela!" and "Vlieg er maar in". November 14th of 1998 brought Sam's latest album to date, "Op zijn sloefkes".
After taking some time off once again, Sam revived his musical career with the single "Een SMS'je doet geen zeer", written by Bart Van den Bossche in 2006. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
